1. Overview

City Mart Supermarket introduced the FOCO (Franchise Owned, Company Operated) franchise model in 2021, offering departmental and convenience store formats ranging from 300 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft.

Our outlets display a wide range of daily need products including groceries, bakery, dairy, personal care, soft drinks, ice creams, cosmetics, ready-to-eat meals, candies, tobacco products, newspapers, magazines, and much more.

2. Investment & Financials

Shop Size: 300 sq. ft. – 10,000 sq. ft.
 

Franchise Investment Cost (Interior, Equipment, Products, Operations, Marketing): ₹6,000/- per sq. ft.
 

Franchise Fee: ₹6,00,000/- + GST (one-time, non-refundable)
 

Software Fee: ₹50,000/- per login
 

Agreement Term: 5 Years
 

3. Company Support

The Franchisor (City Mart Supermarket) will provide:

Store Rent: ₹50/- per sq. ft. per month paid directly to franchise owner

4. Franchise Owner Income

Commission: 10% of total monthly sales

Referral Bonus: ₹10,000/- for each new FOCO franchise appointed by the Franchisee

Approx. Daily Sales: ₹50,000/- → Monthly Sales: ₹15,00,000/-
 

Commission @ 10%: ₹1,50,000/- per month
 

Minimum Guaranteed Income (12% p.a.): Paid annually on investment cost
 

Referral Bonus: ₹10,000/- per FOCO franchise introduced

1. Overview

Under the FOFO model, the Franchisee owns and operates the store directly. The Franchisor (City Mart Supermarket) provides brand, marketing, and promotional support, while the Franchisee is responsible for rent, staff, and operations.

Outlets typically range from 100 sq. ft. to 10,000 sq. ft. and offer a wide range of daily-need products including groceries, bakery, dairy, personal care, soft drinks, ice creams, cosmetics, newspapers, magazines, and more.

2. Responsibilities

Franchisee’s Work

Pay store rent monthly
 

Pay electricity bills of the store
 

Pay staff salaries
 

Bear operational and petty cash expenses
 

Provide a wide range of grocery and daily-need products to customers
 

Carry out store interiors and fit-outs
 

Setup store equipment, including:

3. Income to Franchisee

Royalty: Franchisee will pay 3% of total monthly sales to the Company as royalty.
 

Commission from Sales: Approx. 20% of monthly sales remains with Franchisee as margin.
 

Referral Bonus: Franchisee will receive ₹10,000/- for every new FOCO franchise introduced by them.
